Christopher W. Tubbs, Ph.D.
Postdoctoral Fellow, Reproductive Physiology Division
Dr. Christopher Tubbs began a Postdoctoral Fellowship with the San Diego Zoo's Reproductive Physiology Division in November 2007 to continue his training in the field of endocrine control of reproduction. At the University of Texas, Austin Marine Science Institute, Dr. Tubbs’ research focused on the role of a novel steroid hormone receptor in the regulation of sperm motility in two fish species: Atlantic croaker and southern flounder.
Currently, his research is further exploring his interests in the mechanisms of steroid hormone action by investigating the potential of dietary compounds to alter reproduction in southern white rhinos.
